Christina Cruz was born in NJ and grew up in St. Augustine, Florida. After receiving her Bachelor's Degree from Florida State University, NYC was calling her name. She returned to NJ and obtained her MA in Theatre Studies from Montclair State University. She is a passionate dancer, actress, singer, and budding playwright. When she's not performing or auditioning, she is teaching dance to children and adults. As of January of 2023, she is now a dance adjunct faculty member at Fairleigh Dickinson University in Madison, NJ. She currently resides in Westfield, NJ.

My name is Christina Cruz, and I founded One Step Ahead Dance Studio in 2018. Dedicated to teaching people to dance from all walks of life, I truly believe that anyone can learn how to dance at any age. I specialize in teaching beginners dancers, wedding couples, and helping advanced dancers become triple threat musical theatre performers! I would love to work with you and see where I can take you on your dance journey.
